Early Voting Begins
Early voting available at the Department of Elections office on the ground floor of City Hall, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will also be early voting on the weekends of Oct. 23, 24, 30 & 31.
First Day the Department Mails Vote-by-Mail Ballots to Voters
October 18, 2010
Last Day to Register to Vote for the November 2, 2010 Election
Deadline for registration to vote in this election. Voters who have moved or changed their name must re-register to vote.
October 19 - 26, 2010
New Citizen Registration and Voting (Vote in person at Dept. of Elections only)
Special extension of registration for new citizens who get sworn-in after the Oct. 18 registration deadline, must show proof of citizenship and shall declare that they have established residency in California in order to register and vote during this seven day period.
October 23 & 24, 2010
Weekend Early Voting at City Hall

October 26, 2010
Last Day to Request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot
Applications must be received by the Department of Elections by 5:00 p.m. Postmarks are not accepted.
