did you know there is an election coming up this year?
Many folks stay tuned in for the presidential elections and perhaps for even more high profile local elections (mayor, maybe board of supervisors, how can you not when you are inundated with campaign mailers?). It seems that this year’s election taking place on Tuesday, November 8 is low on folk’s radar screen.
That’s too bad, because as usual, there are a whole slew of propositions on the ballot, many of which are harmful. I plan to write more about the propositions in another entry, but educate yourself for now! There is a website that lists both arguments on www.smartvoter.org . For my endorsements, check out Issues.
I finally took my first vacation since the campaign in mid-August to mid-September and man, did a lot of things happen. I have some writing catching up to do!
