Kimshree Maufas is running for School Board!
Yes, Kimshree Maufas, mother, Lincoln High School PTA member, activist, District 10 resident is running for school board in 2006!
I am really excited that she is running. She is a needed and underrepresented voice on the School Board. She is a parent of a recent student in SFUSD, lives in the SE sector and is African American.
Kim was a huge supporter of Eric Mar, Mark Sanchez and my campaign. Man, we spent many mornings and weekends together, carrying signs, handing out literature and precinct walking- she is a trooper. Tough, smart and she has a sense of humor. She is also connected to what is going on with students in SFUSD and is exactly the kind of voice that we should be voting onto the Board.
I am looking forward to hitting the pavement for you.
