chris daly has a blog
I believe I was the only San Francisco candidate for public office that had a blog this past election, November 2004.
Now, I believe we have our first elected official blogging on the internet. (Please correct me if I am wrong!)

His first entry is an “insider’s perspective” on the city budget vote, which he calls “the single most important vote at City Hall each year.” Yes, $5 billion dollars can be pretty important.
